Echoes of Anne is an interactive WebXR experience that transforms a high-fidelity Gaussian Splat scan of the Anne Frank Monument in Amsterdam into a reflective digital space for remembrance and connection.

Created with Niantic Studio and designed for accessibility beyond geographic limits, the experience invites users into a spatially anchored 3D environment where they can explore evocative visuals and listen to selected excerpts from Anne Frank’s diary. These personal writings are paired with immersive sound design and subtle interactivity to foster emotional engagement and quiet reflection.

This project is not intended as a historical archive, but as a space for remembrance and connection. By linking Anne’s story to the struggles people still face today, Echoes of Anne hopes to spark empathy, preserve cultural memory, and remind us that the fight against hate and injustice is still ongoing.
